Vivo V40 Pro, Vivo V40 Smartphones Launched in India; Check Price and Other Details

Vivo India officially introduced a new smartphone – the V40 Series, under its V lineup. The Vivo V40 Series is launched as the successor to the Vivo V30 Series, which debuted earlier this year. The Vivo V40 Series consists of Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40 smartphones. A landing page of the Vivo V40 Series is now available on the official Vivo India website for pre-booking. The first sale of the Vivo V40 Pro will take place on August 13, 2024, whereas the Vivo V40 will be sold on August 19.

The Vivo V40 Series sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The Vivo V40 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. For optics, the Vivo V40 Pro gets a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary lens with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto snapper with a Sony IMX816 sensor.

On the other hand, Vivo V40 flaunts a dual rear camera module consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS support and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. At the front, Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40 smartphones sport a 50MP selfie camera. The Vivo V40 Series packs a 5,500mAh battery and an 80W wired fast charging facility. Moreover, we get to see connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Galileo, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, and more.

Coming to the pricing, the Vivo V40 Pro is priced at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration, whereas the 12GB + 512GB variant costs Rs 55,999. On the other side, Vivo V40 8GB + 128GB model will be available for Rs 34,999, whereas 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models will be sold at Rs 36,999 and Rs 41,999, respectively. The Vivo V40 Pro will be available in Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey colors, whereas the Vivo V40 comes in Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey shades.
